Did you know April is Heartworm Awareness Month? All during the month of April, Goodwin Animal Hospital is running a special on heartworm tests. Bring your dog in to get tested for heartworms for $20 (savings of $18). Sometimes we as pet owners who lead extremely busy lives will forget to give our favorite companion that monthly pill that is so very important. It's ok. We're here to help. If some time has lapsed since you last gave your pet their heartworm prevention then this is the perfect time to bring them in, get them tested, and let's start that prevention again! And if you're one of those folks that puts the reminder in your smart phone to alert you it's time to give it then why not come in and stock up for the year?
