Dr. Goodwin, born and raised in Montgomery, AL, graduated from Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine and started Goodwin Animal Hospital on the Atlanta Highway in November 1978 with his wife, Lil, as his only employee. His practice has since grown to a five doctor practice with over 30 employees. Dr. Goodwin is a family man married to Lil Rambo Goodwin. They have 3 children-Donald Dru, Rebecca, and Taylor as well as 6 grandchildren and 1 four-legged child, labrador Sissy. Dr. and Mrs. Goodwin are members of First Baptist Church. He is very active in his community having served as past president of the Montgomery Humane Society as well as the Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award; continuously active with the American Cancer Society; serves as an advisor on the board of the Jefferson State Veterinary Technician program; was inducted in the Lee High School Hall of Fame. He is a member of AAHA, AVMA and ALVMA. He is licensed in Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Dr.Goodwin enjoys internal medicine and surgery. He loves his work, his clients and his patients and does not plan to retire as long as he can work hard and play hard!
Dr. William Sternenberg is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. He graduated in 1968 and has been practicing veterinary medicine ever since. He is a member of the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners as well as a member of the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. Dr.Sternenberg is a dedicated family man and husband to wife, DeeDee. They have 2 children, son Randy (wife Kathy) and daughter Margaret (husband Mike), and 5 beautiful grandchildren, Wilson, Ella, Camp, Mac and Mary Catherine. He also enjoys fishing, yard work, hunting and sports with his grandchildren.
Steven M. Sirmon , DVM
Dr. Steven Sirmon was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. He graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a bachelor in Animal Science and from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. His special interests include Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Opthalmology. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. A few of his special interests include spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and watching Auburn football (War Eagle!!!!). Dr.Sirmon and his wife, Kellie, have three beautiful daughters and currently live in Pike Road.
Dr.Lydia Glasscock was born and raised in Montgomery, AL and is a 2010 graduate of Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Along with internal medicine and surgery, her professional interests include exotic pet medicine. She’s a member of AAHA, the AVMA and the ALVMA and is active in the local VMA chapter. Dr.Glasscock currently shares her home with her husband, Andrew, three dogs, Kylie, Leroy and Punkin, one cat, Arthur, and a shy algae eater, Ralph.
Dr. Frank Aman is a graduate of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2010, he returned to his hometown and has been practicing in Montgomery ever since. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Alabama Veterinary Medical Association and the Central Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. His special interest include soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and spending time with his family. He and his wife Laura, their 2 sons and a Boykin Spaniel named Tyson. He is an active volunteer with the YMCA and recently served as the Chairman of the YMCA’s Boys Work Committee to raise money for local YMCA programs.
